Dan Friedberg

Dan is a first-year graduate student in the Master of Urban and Regional Planning program at Virginia Tech in Arlington, VA. Dan grew up in Blacksburg, VA and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Lynchburg. Before starting his graduate studies, Dan worked in several industries as a Business and Data analyst in Richmond, VA. His academic and research interests include Urban Analytics, Hazard Mitigation Planning, and AI Ethics in the Public Sector. Dan enjoys soccer, running, cooking, and sci-fi books and movies.
